To everybody who will further study in Mechanical Engineering at UiTM
Especially Bucat and Talib...
An experience from a Mechanical student in UiTM Penang:

studies, mechanical itself is ok. as long as ur ok with actually CONCENTRATE 100% in class, then revising should be a lot easier. i've many friends who didnt do that well during spm but still one of the scorers here. ironically, those who did well and dropped at university is a lot too. so u better set ur mind into this. now. get the determination ready. haha.

first sem is quite tough, not studies, but getting used to be here. but after few months, once u get used to it, its nothing at all. u dont have to worry about anything much.

financially, they're giving rm4 a day for the whole sem, monthly. they'll cash in into ur bank account. so it would be a lot of help there, not much, but at least a bit.But you can apply for food allowance.UiTM will give you RM150 a month.

co-curicular, for sem 1 - 3 only. yes compulsory. it's included in ur pointer, need i say more? basically just do wat they ask, and u'll be fine. co-curicular is nothing, except the fact they took ur free time lah.

once u enter 4th sem, no more curicular, no more english subjects (we have english subjects for 3 sem, 6 hours a week, that makes 2 hours a day, so it took a lot in ur schedule, compare to other core subjects which took at most 4 hours a week.), so 4th sem above, the timetable is not that pack anymore.

so sry if i said too much, the thing is, i was like u, wanting to know more about the place im going to pursue and stuff. if u continue this attitude and put ur motivation and determination into this, u can do it. i assure u. cos im doing well myself too. glad to help.
